Vehicle markings are intended to make squad members recognizable as a team during combat. This promotes team spirit, increases historical immersion and encourages possible new members to consider joining the squad.
This is what vehicle 23 referenced above looks like in the game. If we had a fifth decal option we could place the armored triangle in its proper location to better conform to the historical reference but as it is this is as close to historical fidelity as we can get in this game.
Unfortunately though, these markings require four decal locations—something available only to paying premium members. Free players are restricted to just two decal placements, leaving this design inadequate for standardized squad vehicle markings.
